Courtney Miller, Mezzo-soprano, is currently working toward her Master of Music in Opera at the Boston Conservatory studying with Dr. Rebecca Folsom. She will be performing the roles of Suzy in La Rondine and Romeo in I capuleti e montecchi with the Conservatory this spring. Before coming to Boston, Ms. Miller received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan studying with Carmen Pelton. Her last year at the U of M, she played Nancy in Britten's Albert Herring with the University's Opera Theatre, was a Charles A. Lynam Competition finalist, and a Rislov Foundation Award recipient. This past summer, Ms. Miller worked with the Ohio Light Opera Company where she portrayed a "fiery Tzeitel" in Fiddler on the Roof among other roles. Ms. Miler is a proud alumna of Seagle Music Colony (2008) and College Light Opera Company (2007).
