Germany-based Deborah Lynn Cole performs frequently in concert throughout the country with Frankfurt’s Johann-Strauss Orchestra, the Rheinische Troubadours, and many other groups, presenting in opera and operetta and the  classical concert repertoire as well as American and British songs. The soprano also has her own trio, “Classy Jazz,” and a flourishing private voice studio. In 2016 she joins the Frankfort Symphony for a Spring concert and the orchestra of Bad Kissingen for an Easter concert, and performs several jazz concerts and a Barbra Streisand tribute.


After winning the National Auditions, Deborah received a Richard F. Gold Career Grant from the Shoshana Foundation, and began her career singing in opera houses in Boston, Houston, Denver and Pittsburgh before moving on to Europe. From 1989 to 1996 she was a soloist at the opera house in Osnabrück, Germany and the prestigious Hessen State Theater in Wiesbaden, Germany. Since 1996, she has been performing as a freelance artist with engagements in such renowned opera houses as Opera Frankfurt, Niedersachsen State Theater in Hannover, the National Theater in Mannheim and the Deutsche Opera in Berlin. Her roles have included Amina in La Sonnambula, Norina in Don Pasquale, Romilda in Xerxes, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Gretel in, Hänsel Und Gretel, Sonja in Der Zarewitsch, and Maria in West Side Story.
